High-Q open slotted-waveguide resonators, widely used in microwave techniques, have a dense spectrum of natural oscillations [1, 2]. Open slotted-waveguide resonators based on cutoff waveguides are free from this drawback [3]. In these resonators, sections of waveguides with a wide band of single-mode operation, in particular, H-waveguides, are used as the resonators. An analysis of the natural frequencies of open-slotted waveguide resonators with plates of zero thickness is carried out in [2], but such resonators are rarely encountered in practice.References
