Systematization of definitions specifying the accuracy parameters of satellite radio navigational systems (SRNS) has been presented. Metrological approach is used in considering SRNS as large measuring information systems. Comparative accuracy characteristics of certain SRNS modes of the GPS and Galileo projects are presented as examples.
