Abstract

Characteristics of a narrow longitudinal slot positioned over a dielectric insert of finite length completely filling the cross section of a rectangular waveguide have been investigated. The magnetic field excited by a slot in the dielectric insert in the area directly under the slot was determined. Internal admittance of the slot and its energy parameters were numerically investigated.
