Abstract

The paper is devoted to investigation of beam parameters (the shape and position of the beam in the “azimuth-elevation” coordinates) of a waveguide-slot phased antenna array with phase-frequency keying when scanning at large elevation angles. The issues of optimization of PAA spatial position are considered. It is expedient to take for optimization criterion the rate of symmetry of the beam at a maximum deviation of the beam in elevation.
