Control by an output signal phase of the synchronized semi-conductor generator

In many radio-electronic devices it is necessary to form a coherent output signal with a controlled phase. Usually applied decisions are based on use of phase shifters with electrically controlled phase. The possibility of control by an output signal phase of the diode synchronized generator without the phase shifter but readjustment of its oscillation frequency is presented in this work. Such readjustment is made by means of the varactor diode included in the high-frequency network of the generator. Ways of power losses substantial reduction to a readjustment band are shown. Proposed systems allow to adjust an output signal phase beyond the bounds of 180°.References
