Assessment of effectiveness of optimal pre-emphasis of signals in an information transmission system is performed based on partial and generalized criteria of electromagnetic compatibility. The partial criteria represent the rate of concentration of signals in spectrum and time, the rate of utilization of traffic capacity, and the average probability of errors arising from intersymbol interference.References
