Improvement of radar range resolution by processing of synthesized measurements in range strobes

Abstract

The paper describes a new method and algorithm for improvement of radar range resolving capacity. The approach is based on increasing the number of range strobes, their arrangement in a certain order, and on optimal processing of amplitudes of reflection of signals obtained in these strobes.
