Abstract

The spectrum calculation results are used for its estimation in a band of frequencies and for determining the parameters of individual frequency components. It is shown that the discrete Fourier transformation and the parametric method should be employed only for rough estimation of the spectrum. In spectral analysis of digital quasiperiodic signals, it is expedient to apply methods based on approximation of a sequence of data samples by the first-order trigonometric polynomial with variable frequency of its harmonic functions.
