Abstract

Several new algorithms for synthesis of phase devices are developed. The algorithms are based on new relationships between entries of the wave transfer matrix making it possible to deduce expressions defining the optimal (in terms of required phases of the reflection factor and transfer factor) values of parameters of these uncontrollable elements. These results can be used for synthesis of matching-filtering devices. Examples of synthesis of simple networks of phase and matching-filtering devices are included.
