The paper is devoted to investigation of detection of determinate signals with a fixed false alarm probability in the case of unknown matrix of interference covariances, when the detection is based on the Neumann-Pearson criterion. The conditions are deduced for the detector ensuring a constant false alarm probability when the unknown matrix of interference covariances has the Toeplitz structure. The efficiency of this detector is assessed by the simulation method. It is shown that there may exist an acceptable loss with respect to the Neumann-Pearson optimal detector.References
