Abstract

Theoretical analysis of mechanisms that excite auto-oscillations in magnetrons with secondary emission cathode without use of additional thermo-cathode is conducted. Processes of exciting auto-oscillations with the use of modulated pulse of anode voltage are studied. Conditions under which the realization of the given excitation mechanism is possible are determined.
