Abstract

The paper considers a new approach to synthesis of a direction finder of a source of polarized signals of unknown shape (a passive direction finder). The synthesis is performed based on permissible transformations of the nonlinear equation of maximum likelihood. Analysis of amplitude measurer structures is carried out, and the resemblance of these structures to some known structures of direction finders of nonpolarized signal sources is considered.
