P. Taranenko: Microwave Electronics” in the journal "Radioelectronics and Communications Systems" (ISSN 1934-8061 Online), ISSN 0735-2727 Print).

On March 16, 2024, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine, Professor Vadym Taranenko turned 100.

Prof. V.P. Taranenko is a famous scientist in the field of Microwave Electronics and the author of 140 scientific works, including two monographs and 16 author's certificates. Some of Vadym Pavlovich's original works, such as increasing the efficiency of traveling wave tubes, creating powerful electron beams, developing and creating powerful traveling wave tubes, and developing methods for computer calculations of solid-state generators and amplifiers of the millimeter wave range, are still an example for many microwave engineers.

Today, high-frequency technology is a critical element in the development of modern society. Advances in microwave electronics and semiconductor processing technologies have made integrating microwave devices at the chip level possible, paving the way for new technical solutions.

In this Special Issue, we invite you to share your developments in microwave and terahertz devices and systems and new ideas for building fundamentally new and improving existing solutions.

The issue will cover the following topics:

Electromagnetic theory

Microwave and terahertz measurements

Design of microwave and terahertz devices, circuits, and systems

Modeling techniques of microwave components and subsystems

Dr. Oleg Drobakhin
Dr. Oleksiy Kuleshov
Dr. Mykhailo Omelianenko
Special Issue Editors

Special Issue Editors

Oleg Drobakhin

Special Issue Editor

Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Ukraine

Interests: microwave device modeling; microwave measurements; design of microwave devices, circuits, and systems

Oleksiy Kuleshov

Guest Special Issue Editor

Ya.
