Theoretical Study of Cold Start of Magnetrons with Secondary Emission Cathode

N. I. Avtomonov, D. M. Vavriv, and S. V. Sosnytsky

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 1–6.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010012

Theoretical analysis of mechanisms that excite auto-oscillations in magnetrons with secondary emission cathode without use of additional thermo-cathode is conducted. Processes of exciting auto-oscillations with the use of modulated pulse of anode voltage are studied. Conditions under which the realization of the given excitation mechanism is possible are determined

Syndrome Method of Forming Digital Watermarks and Stenographical Transfer with the Use of Additional Information about the Carrier

A. V. Shishkin

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 7–13.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010024

A method of stenographical information transfer in the syndrome of interference immune Hamming (2r – 1, 2rr – 1) and Golay (23, 12, 7) codes is considered. The algorithm for inserting data uses additional information on the carrier sequence which leads to increased information efficiency of stenographical information transfer if compared to the algorithms based on substitution of the least significant digits of the carrier. It may be used in the problems of authenticating digital images of various applications by inserting digital watermarks

Method of Fast Maximum Search on the Bearing Landscape

Yu. B. Nechaev and S. A. Zotov

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 14–19.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010036

On the basis of analyzing the known maximum search algorithms in one and two dimensional cases a conclusion is made that most of them cannot be directly used in the radio bearing problems, since the analyzed dependence has complex landscape with a great number of maxima and minima. A method of using some algorithms for the radio bearing problem is suggested which allows making the bearing up to 10 times faster in the one dimensional and up to 1000 times faster in the two dimensional case if compared to linear search

Joint Interpolation of Data and Parameter Filtration of a Multibeam Communications Channel

A. A. Shpylka and S. Ya. Zhuk

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 20–24.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010048

The optimal and quasi-optimal algorithms of joint data interpolation and parameter filtration of a multibeam communications channel have been synthesized by using the tools of mixed Markov processes in discrete time. The analysis of the quasi-optimal algorithm and its comparison with an adaptive filter based on the training sequence were carried out by using the computer statistic simulation for a model example

Sampling Theorem for Signals of the Space Built on the Generalized Boolean Algebra with Measure

A. A. Popov

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 25–32.

DOI: 10.3103/S073527271001005X

Basic information relationships characterizing the representation of a continuous signal by the finite set of its instantaneous values in the signal space built on the generalized Boolean algebra with measure have been derived. In addition, peculiarities of the formulation of the sampling theorem for stationary random processes (signals) were also considered

Threshold Characteristics of Estimates of Image Coordinates with Unknown Intensity and Area

A. P. Trifonov and A. V. Kudaev

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 33–41.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010061

The analysis of the maximum likelihood algorithm for estimating image coordinates in the presence of anomalous errors has been carried out. The loss of estimation accuracy caused by the presence of anomalous errors was also determined

Phase Method of Estimation of Aperture Uncertainty Time

M. V. Bondarenko

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 42–47.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010073

There is represented mathematical description of aperture uncertainty problem. Relations, which are basic ones for estimation of aperture uncertainty time, are shown. Description of method for estimation of aperture uncertainty time on a basis of noises phase differentiating is given, its application restrictions are underlined

V. D. Sadkov, Yu. V. Eremeev, and A. B. Ivanov

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 48–51.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010085

Using conformal mapping method there is obtained analytical relations for form-factor and its dependence on depth of laser slit for accurate alignment elements in form of semicircular, triangle and rectangular chamfered regions in precision film and metal-foil chip-resistors

Spaced Radio Receive as a Queueing System with Mixed Priorities

V. K. Marigodov

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 52–55.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010097

It is considered a possibility of simulation of spaced radio receive with queueing system (QS) with mixed priorities. There are defined main parameters of QS for three priorities classes and comparative analysis of their efficiency is represented

Ya. Ya. Kudryk and S. K. Abdizhaliev

Radioelectron. Commun. Syst. — 2010. — Vol. 53, No. 1. — P. 56–57.

DOI: 10.3103/S0735272710010103

It is researched temperature dependences of forward branch of Shottkey diodes TiBxn–6HSiC. It is detected that forward branch of voltage-current characteristic is described by exponential dependence for voltage interval of 0.05–0.4 V and temperature interval of 100–500 K. At that saturation current and characteristic energy are weakly dependent on temperature. It is shown that redundant component of silicon carbide Shottkey diodes has tunnel behavior, in spite of spatial charge region width into researched diodes is essentially greater than characteristic tunnel length
