Abstract

It is researched numerically the main characteristics of self-phasing multi-beam traveling-wave tubes (SMBTWT) with variable phase velocity, whose grouping area of interaction circuit contains single section with decreased value of the coupling resistance. It is carried out experimental verification of numerical non-linear model of SMBTWT, proving the adequacy of interaction of electron flow with electromagnetic wave in such devices.
