Abstract

The strict expression for probability of a false alarm of is maximal likelihood algorithm of detection of rectangular radiopulses with unknown amplitude and duration is found by means of solution of the Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation with division variables method. In contrast to known before solution, the expression is correct for any detection thresholds and arbitrary a priory value of definite interval of durations.
