Abstract

The method for determining the object size of the holographic radio-wave imaging based on the grid minimization of size values of the phase magnitude of scalar product of the scattering fields for the analyzed and reference objects has been developed and tested. The statistical characteristics of the method were obtained and analyzed for different shapes of the scattering object: ideally conducting infinite circular cylinder, circular cylinder of finite length, and infinite tapes. The proposed method allows us to ensure the determination of dimensions with accuracy much better than the hardware resolution of the system.
