Abstract

Progressive waves resonator with waves propagating in the waveguide ring in the opposite directions is suggested and analyzed. Energy accumulation processes in the ring resonator are considered and its fast exhaust from the resonator. The advantages of the suggested device are demonstrated compared to the known devices of similar application.
