Abstract

The paper considers the quasiprobable, Bayes, and maximum-probable algorithms for detection of images of objects protracted in space and with unknown location against the background of spatial Gaussian white noise. The working capacity of the algorithms and the sphere of applicability of the deduced asymptotic expressions for detection characteristics are determined with the aid of computer-aided statistical simulation.
