Methods of approximate estimation of survivability of telecommunication networks

Abstract

The existing methods of approximate estimation of survivability of telecommunication networks are analyzed, and a new method of rough estimation (called here Romanov’s method) is suggested. Taking an arbitrary network as an illustrative example, a comparison between effectiveness of the suggested method and the existing ones is performed.
