The loss in a dielectric medium at synthesis and analysis of a circular polarization coupler in a metal-dielectric strip waveguide

Abstract

The paper presents a mathematical model and description of a circular polarization coupler, made in a metal-dielectric strip waveguide, with regard for the loss in the waveguide dielectric medium. The coupler is designed for application in a polarization-type measurer of complex parameters of waveguide devices operating in the range of extremely high frequencies (EHF).
