Numerical analysis of static characteristics of axially symmetric electron beams in microwave devices

Abstract

An algorithm is suggested for numerical analysis of static characteristics of beams in axially symmetric electron-optical systems of arbitrary configuration. Comparison with relevant experimental data shows that the new algorithm permits, with a sufficient accuracy, to estimate characteristics of electron beams and of optimal working conditions of the electron gun under investigation.
