Improvement of radar resolving capacity in azimuth and elevation by reconstruction of radar image

Abstract

A new method and an algorithm are suggested for simultaneous improvement of radar resolving capacity in azimuth and elevation. The procedures are based on synthesis of new elements of resolution by algorithmic processing of measurement data obtained at line-by-line scanning by the radar beam of the surveillance zone in azimuth and elevation with overlapping the antenna radiation patterns.
