Abstract

The paper is devoted to estimating the time moments of signals, backgrounded by noise, with the use of the wavelet analysis and the matrix weight coefficient. Analysis of errors is performed for the first initial and the second central moment. Under certain conditions, computational efficiency of the suggested technique exceeds that inherent in the existing methods of time analysis.
